The problem

A league with several divisions, a cup and a post-season produces a lot of arithmetic every week: who was the most valuable player, who is one technical foul away from a suspension, how a two-legged playoff tie is decided on aggregate, who leads each category. Done by hand, that work falls on volunteers after every round, and every mistake is public.

What we built

A WordPress site on SportsPress Pro, extended with custom plugins. The MVP of each game is calculated from the performance rating, with a manual override for ties. A technical foul monitor counts penalties across the season and emails the league when a player reaches 4, 8 or 12. A post-season manager handles playoffs, play-outs and ranking ties in one- or two-leg formats and draws the bracket. Top-performer tables and per-team player statistics are filterable by league and season, and everything reads properly in Greek.
